Spectating

Yesterday I went with my best friend down to on of the Miller Park parking lots for an event of autocross. We met up with more friends and had 3 of the crew's cars registered to race. The objective was to basically take your car (stock or modified)  and go through this coned obstacle course and see how fast you can go through it with out hitting the cones. If you hit the cones, you get time added to your overall run time. It was fun to spectate, watch friends race, and hang with the rest of the friends. What made it even more interesting was that it rained really hard too during the last half of the session runs. We all got into our cars and talked and stuff, ate a lot of food and had a lot of good laughs. I would say it was another awesome Sunday in my books.

This event also gave me the strong urge to fix the Fiero enough and see if I can register it into autocross. I seen another 88' Fiero Formula out there racing and made me want to just get in and race. I have strong hopes in my future that I'll be racing a car in events like this making my life seem more positive and hopeful. For once I can actually enjoy life again and set back some of the things that have held me down aside. Oh and the idea of getting a Miata is growing onto me more and more now. :D
